Common Questions
1. Is Next Tee only for beginners?
- No. Next Tee welcomes golfers of all experience levels. Whether you are picking up a club for the first time or already have experience, lessons can be tailored to help you improve and enjoy the game through simple drills, helpful feedback, and easy-to-understand swing concepts.
2. Do I need my own golf clubs?
- No. Please fill out the form at the top of this page. Next Tee does have clubs available for use during lessons.
3. Do parents need to stay during youth lessons?
- No. Parents are welcome to stay and watch, but they may also leave during the lesson. We simply ask that you return before
the lesson ends so your child can be picked up on time.
4. Can siblings and friends take a lesson together?
- Yes. Shared lessons are available for an additional fee.
- A lesson for two children is $40 total.
- A lesson for an adult and child is $60.
- An adult couples lesson is $80 total.
5. How often should a student take lessons?
- For the best results, we recommend taking lessons at least once every two weeks. However, improvement also depends on practicing between lessons. Students are encouraged to go to the range and work on the skills covered during instruction.
6. What should I wear?
- Students should wear comfortable athletic clothing that allows them to move freely. Shorts or athletic pants are recommended, and jeans are discouraged.
- Closed-toe shoes with good stability are required for safety while swinging.
7. How can I support Next Tee?
- Booking lessons and supporting our program is already greatly appreciated. Those who would like to help further can donate through the donations page on our website or contribute new or gently used golf clubs.
- If your child outgrows a set of clubs, Next Tee may be interested in purchasing them at a fair price or accepting them as a donation.
8. Where do you go when you get to the Range?
- Generally, coaches will try to meet you as you walk in through the outside gate (should have a metal sign saying "The Range"), but if we don't catch you as you walk in, there will be a little pavilion right outside the gate, and your coach will meet you there.
